Emma Bull and Will Shetterly

Emma Bull is the acclaimed author of the YA fantasy novel Bone Dance, the Old Western fantasy Territory, the fantastic mystery Finder, and the classic War for the Oaks, among others, along with screenplays and numerous short stories. She is the executive producer (with Elizabeth Bear) of Shadow Unit, the innovative, interactive, online science fiction project about a secret investigative unit at the FBI. As a musician, she has performed as one of the Flash Girls (a goth-folk duo) and as a member of Cats Laughing (“psychedelic improv folk-jazz”).

Will Shetterly’s short stories and novels include the World Fantasy Award-nominated The Gospel of the Knife and the award-winning Elsewhere. His book Captain Confederacy was the first comic published by a major comic book publisher featuring a black female superhero. His new young adult urban fantasy novel Midnight Girl is available from Scribd, Smashwords, Amazon, and Lulu. He is also a prolific blogger.

Emma Bull and Will Shetterly have taught at Clarion West and at the Pima Writers Workshop. Though long associated with the Minneapolis fantasy and science fiction scene, they now live in Arizona. This site has links to Emma and Will’s blogs, bios, and online stories.


Cory and Catska Ench

Cory and Catska Ench

Cory and Catska Ench are the Chesley Award-winning creators of book and magazine covers, posters, murals, and fine art. They work both independently and collaboratively, using digital and traditional media. They’ve done cover art for Fantasy & Science Fiction magazine, and for books by George R. R. Martin, Lucius Shepard, Howard Waldrop, and many others.

In the West, they’re known for producing striking posters for festivals and events including Seattle Hempfest, the Oregon Country Fair, and Burning Man (including this poster for a 2009 Burning Man fundraiser Artumnal). Their Washington State public art projects include murals for the Port Townsend Coop, the Forks Visitor Center, and the Olympic National Park headquarters in Port Angeles.

Cory Ench is an East Coast native who studied art and anatomy in Seattle. His “Dreamtime Persistence” was a 2007 international winner in the Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art competition. Catska Ench was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where she studied art in her mother’s atelier. At 16, she moved to the U.S.
